Dan Jones, co-founder of ThurstonTalk, accepted the Green Business award from the Thurston Chamber of Commerce on April 12, 2017.

“Every day, our team is focused on delivering a product for mobile users. Our carbon footprint is drastically lower than our print competitors,” says Dan Jones, CEO of NorthAmericaTalk and ThurstonTalk co-founder.  Jones accepted the award on behalf of ThurstonTalk at the Chamber forum.

ThurstonTalk and the NorthAmericaTalk family of community social networks publishes stories about what it’s like to live, work, and play in a community.  “Our digital media company is showing advertisers that they can reach their target market, grow their brand, and measure results without contributing to recycling bins,” says ThurstonTalk co-founder and VP of Sales, Martin McElliott.  “Using our proprietary Community Social GraphTM, we are providing unique data to marketers that’s only visible through a community social network.”

“In fact, by only publishing digitally, ThurstonTalk has cut 10 million pieces of paper out of the landfill,” adds Chief Publishing Officer, Amy Rowley.

“We appreciate the Thurston Chamber recognizing our contributions as environmentally friendly company,” says Jones.
